Second Week Homework!

Homework Finished. Tomorrow I learn the toe. I can tell that this sock is going to be too big. But no problems at all. I have already started the second sock. I had wanted to get as far as the heel with it before my class but, its not gonna happen. One good thing about my LYS is that I can go back anytime I have troubles and they will help... Good thing, I bet I will be needing them!

My little hat

I finished my hat with a three needle cast off. It suppose to be for an infant, but it looks like it would fit a 1 year old! I'll try it on my 8 month old grand daughter tomorrow!

Heel flaps, short rows and gussets...Oh My

OK, heel turned. I'm just finishing my decreases and then to the toe. Next week I learn to finish the toe... Then I just have to make another one!

On My Needles

I'm working on a hat, too. Its called "snowflake" but I don't think I will embroidery the snowflakes. Its just a simple little hat that ties in a bow on the top. I'll try to have it finished this weekend.

Homework Done!

I finished my sock homework. I did the ribbing for about 2 inches with a total length of 7 inches. I'm ready to start the heal! I can't wait for tomorrows class.

My First Sock

I started my sock! I had a great time in class at my LYS... well, not really a class. I was the only student! Just means I had all the attention. I am glad I taking this class. I'm going to learn the tricks. I'm using Regia 4 ply with size 2 needles. The color is Jacquard. Can't give you more information on the yarn cuz it's in German. I am a big lady so I cast on 60 and am doing the ribbing with k2, p1. For home work I sould have 6-7 inches done my next Friday. It's fun!

The picture shows what I did in class. Not much for two hours but the needles are small and the yarn is too! There is a learning curve!
